2nd game (Women’s doubles)
Samantha Soh and Goh Shi Jing communicated and partnered well on the courts even though they were playing together for the very first time .The change was refreshing even for the supporters who are used to predictability in the line up for the players. Upon interview with the players, Samantha described the game to be “pretty easy” and Shi jing shed light into the finer details of the game she felt injustice for her team when the empire sentenced the ball out when it should be in when the ball touched the line running through the middle of the tennis court during a serve.

Surprise! The crowd was pleased to have newcomer kasster soh zhi yang on the court. Kasster was paired up with Tan Yan Zhang Edwin. Edwin was giving tips to kasster on the court as they played, they looked brotherly as they played together. It should be noted that they are also partnering each other for the very first time. Edwin was steady with this power packed returns. Also, it was a commendable effort put in by kasster considering the fact that he has never played tennis competitively before. With more practice in pushing the ball forward So that the ball gets over the net, kasster will do better and earn more glory in tennis for hall 6.Do watch out for him in the next few games.

4th game (Mixed doubles)
An entertaining chap, Tan Jien Yi Benny with his cool, calm and composed partner Weelin, played the 4th game .At first, we lost many points due to hall 2’ s tactic of playing the ball near the net. However Benny picked up and played to counter attack hall 2’s tricks and played more netballs , allowing him to hold hall 2 down. Benny Had his fair share of ups and downs in the match where he earned him self 2 double faults, which he begged me not to note down.ooops Benny. Weelin was on form with her returns, helping us chalk up more point’s .In this game, there were many faults in the serve and it kept the spectators edgy on the courts. The climax would be when Benny and weelin ran for the same ball crashed into each other but still miraculously managed to bring the ball across which hall 2 never anticipated. Vanessa from the crowd shouted “unity is strength” from the crowd. Indeed.

5th game (Women’s singles)
Teo Suat Hoon Elisabeth played a crucial match for the team, she would have to win this match in order for hall 6 to proceed to the Semifinals. However, she was still acting herself in the midst of the crowd’s pressure. This is one seasoned tennis player. Just like Arun, she played effortlessly and described the game as “ easy “.
