If the atmosphere had emotions and a voice it would let of a yell to shake off the jitters. Hall 6 and Hall 11 are both known to be strong teams .The game was akin to a battle of smashing 2 similar stones against the wall and watching which stone crumble first. The pressure was on.

It is interesting to note that we had empires that made decisions that went against our team both for the girls and males match thou the empires were different. Weiming reasoned with the empire and tried to get the empire to see the light. When he didn’t get what we should have deserved, he ran a home run to prove the empire how unbeaten hall 6 can be even with the empire attempting to drag us down .Way to go captain Weiming!

The supporters were very impressed with the batting from Lionel, Weiming and Qing Yao . They are strong and heavy batters who would send the opponents sprawling for the ball, it is hard for the opponents to capture their lethal balls. Hall 11 must hate them indeed. By the way Weiming’s ball hit the roof of block 32! The people in 32 who were taking an afternoon nap then must have thought that a bomb had descended above their heads. The day a ball can be considered a weapon.

When the score was at 5 – 7 and there was 10 minutes left to make a difference, Hall 6 decided to get back by playing more innings by cutting out the team talk .Within that period, they fielded ten batted and lastly batted again. However, time was not on their side for another round of batting to gain more points. Oh well thou we lost we will lift our heads up and be hungry for a better placing next year! HALL 6 HIT HT HIT SCORE SCORE SCORE.RAAAAARRR.

Clad in uniquely Singaporean slippers and shorts and in a sea of patriotic green, the predominantly female supporters took time on a sunny Sunday afternoon to cheer the male’s softball team in their quarterfinals determining match against Hall 5 .

10.30am .The game begins .Karl the pitcher managed to hold hall 5 down with his superb aiming skills. One wonders if his darts training had any part in the steady pitching.

The audience were treated to a display of fielding brought on by Chian Tong and Weiming who saved the game and deprived hall 5 of ever scoring .Notice the striking resemblance in their profile .They both played outfield , caught the ball In midair transferred it to their teammates on the bases and they both got to eliminate 2 opponents from the other team each .

Lionel was the master of mind games , he managed to trick his opponents into a tag play, which won him a home run .

Good job hall 6 we through to the Quarterfinals !
