Hellooo guys! I am Zann Tan Yi Tong, your Financial Controller for the 23nd JCRC!! I am currently enrolled in the Business course, Year 2, majoring in Banking and Finance.
My portfolio as the Financial Controller includes claiming out/ reimbursing payments for hall activities/ events from the 8 JCRC portfolios and the 3 WOCs: HSOC, DnD and Hexis. Also, should the need arise, I will try my best to claim additional grants or loans from SAO should the various portfolios or WOCs require them for their activities. Budgeting to the various portfolios are also under my charge and I will ensure to the best of my abilities that the funds are properly accounted for and allocated so that hall activities can be executed smoothly and without hiccups.

My goal this year will be to ensure that the finances in hall are properly accounted for and allocated efficiently, so that hall activities and HSOC, DnD and Hexis can be carried out more efficiently. I hope to achieve this by ensuring that the finance heads in each WOC/ activity and the directors are familiar with how they are supposed to claim out their expenses, and other procedures, such as sales ticketing prices and etc.
Also, having gone through an additional year in hall and JCRC, I hope to be able to impart my experience to our very fresh JCRC team this year, especially to the directors under my charge. With this advice and guidance, I hope that they will be able to perform their best for hall and bring out the greatest in themselves.

Lastly, I would like to reach out to all hall 6 residents as much as possible by getting to know all of you better as the year passes by!
